Patrick Schneider – UX and Interaction Designer

Hi, I'm Patrick.

Senior UX and Interaction Designer working at Audi Amazon, based in Munich.

I love design in every aspect of our lives. I started designing and developing websites in 2006 and since then, my goal has been to create the best interaction designs with a strong user focus. Currently I work at Amazon as a Sr. UX Designer, creating new payment experiences that reach millions of customers. Prior to Amazon, I worked at Audi creating web and mobile apps in the retail, e-mobility, VR/AR and Machine Learning area. In 2013, I co-founded a creative agency and worked for small and medium sized businesses. Among other things, I also had the opportunity to design mobile apps for Continental and Schaeffler.

I always try to bring together technology and design in a meaningful way while ensuring the best fit for the user and the business. It’s my passion to solve complex problems and transform them into easy and intuitive experiences. I enjoy sketching, prototyping and UX writing in order to reduce the amount of user interactions to a minimum. In my opinion, keeping a user interface as lean and precise as possible and being always focussed on the problem which should be solved, leads to a great user experience. I like working closely together with developers in small teams and I feel inspired by people like Otl Aicher, Dieter Rams and Jonathan Ive.

I love to explore the world and capture unique moments with my camera. I also like to go hiking and I'm passionate about cooking Italian food. My latest hobby is making espresso and cappuccino (if I'm lucky, even with latte art) with my 30 years old La Pavoni machine.
